Received a letter from Christian Hasselberg, the Tour de Donut Race Coordinator on behalf of the Boeing Employees Bicycle Club, thanking the City of Staunton for all of their efforts in support of their annual race, along with a $2,700.00 donation.  A copy of the letter is attached to the agenda packet.

The City of Staunton has two licensed trash haulers for the current year.  They are DC Waste & Recycling and Republic Services.  DC’s rate is $24.00 per month and Republic Service’s rate if $51.00 per quarter, and these rates are in effect until the end of the calendar year.   The rate sheet showing contact information is attached to the agenda packet.  If you are being charged incorrectly, please contact your trash hauler directly as the Clerk’s Office cannot discuss an individual’s account with your trash hauling company.

Motion to approve Quote from Midwest Turf Management for annual Weed Control and Fertilizer at the Soccer Fields and Little League Baseball Fields.  This is a two year contract with the fixed cost being $3,166.00 per year.
