I. CALL TO ORDER:
Mayor Craig Neuhaus called the Staunton City Council Meeting to order at 7:00 P.M. on Monday, April 8, 2019
II. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE:
Mayor Craig Neuhaus led the Pledge Allegiance to the Flag.

VI. CORRESPONDENCE
Received an e-mail from Rooster’s Pub requesting to close Elm Street from Main Street to the Duda Garden entrance on Sunday, June 2, 2019, from 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. for a Poker Run. They are requesting to do the same closure on Sunday September 15, 2019, from 8:00 A.M. to 12:00 A.M. for their Anniversary Bash.
Received a letter from D & E Janitorial Service notifying the City that they will no
longer extend their contract for floor stripping and waxing at City buildings. Their
current contract will expire on June 12, 2019. Their last time to strip and wax the floors will be June 1st and 2nd, 2019.
Received a letter from the Staunton Lions Club, requesting to use the Fireman’s Park on Saturday, April 20, 2019, from 8:00 A. M. to 1:00 P.M. for their annual Easter Egg Hunt. They are also requesting to have the park rental fee waived.
VII. TREASURER’S REPORT
Investment recently cashed in at Bank of Springfield:
Depreciation Fund--$75,000.00 plus $1,642.39 interest (opened on 10/5/2017 for 18
months at 1.26%)
