Received a letter of resignation from part time police dispatcher Dana Rigor, effective November 14, 2025. 

Received an email from the Staunton Chamber of Commerce requesting to close Main Street from Edwardsville Street to Union Street on Friday evening, December 5th from 3:00 to 9:00 and Saturday, December 6th from 6:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. for the Christmas Tree Lighting and Snack with Santa.  They are also asking to keep Main Street closed from Wood Street to Elm Street at 9:00 P.M. on December 5th^, and remain closed all night long.

The City Clerk’s Office will be closed on Thursday, November 27^th and Friday, November 28^th for the Thanksgiving holiday.  All public works employees, except for one water treatment plant employee, will be off those days as well.
