MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE STAUNTON CITY COUNCIL, HELD IN THE PUBLIC WORKS BUILDING, 914 NORTH EASTON ST., STAUNTON, ILLINOIS ON MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 11, 2017

I. CALL TO ORDER:

Mayor Craig Neuhaus called the Staunton City Council Meeting to order at 7:00 P.M. on Monday, September 11, 2017

II. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE:

Mayor Craig Neuhaus led the Pledge Allegiance to the Flag.

III. ROLL CALL:

City Clerk Stiegemeier called roll with the following persons

ATTENDING: Councilmembers Rich Garde, Rick Johnson, Bill Boster, Ryan Pritchett, Jeff Scanzoni, Mayor Craig Neuhaus, City Clerk Dennis Stiegemeier, City Treasurer Cindy Pirok, City Attorney Phil Lading and Public Works Director Mike Kuethe.

NOT ATTENDING: Alderwoman Maria Bodner and Aldermen Chad Plenske and Herb Sievers.

Motion by Johnson, seconded by Scanzoni authorizing Police Chief Jeff Doerr to sign Macoupin County Emergency Telephone System Board E 9-1-1 Interagency Agreement for 2018. Ayes: Johnson, Boster, Pritchett, Scanzoni, Garde. Nayes: None. Absent: Bodner, Plenske, Sievers. Motion carried.

PARK & CIVIC IMPROVEMENT –

FINANCE–

UTILITIES-

Motion by Boster, seconded by Garde to approve Renewal Quote from Hach Service Partnership for annual Partnership Renewal Proposal at the water treatment plant in the amount of $6,592.00 (effective October 11, 2017 through October 10, 2018). Ayes: Boster, Pritchett, Scanzoni, Garde, Johnson. Nayes: None. Absent: Bodner, Plenske, Sievers. Motion carried.
