Received a letter from Zion Early Childhood Education Center requesting to block the streets and intersections that border Zion Lutheran School (Wood, Henry, Hoxsey and Panhorst) from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, June 16, 2022, to allow daycare students to ride their bicycles around the school. They are also asking City workers to set up barricades that morning for the event.
Received an email from St. Paul United Church of Christ requesting to close Union Street from Pearl Street to Mill Street on Saturday, July 9th from 1:00 P.M. to 4:30 P.M. to host a family friendly Street Fest. This event will be held after the Tour de Donut.

Governor Pritzker has signed a new Gubernatorial Disaster Proclamation extending the statewide declaration through June 25, 2022, which means that public meetings may continue to be held remotely.
The annual Homecoming Parade will be held on Sunday, June 26, 2022 at 4:00 P.M. The City of Staunton will have a float in the parade and any City Officials are welcome to walk along with the float. Kids and grandkids are also welcome to ride on the float. Please meet at the City Hall Complex at 3:30 that day.
