MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE STAUNTON CITY COUNCIL, HELD IN THE RALPH & JOSEPHINE OLTMANN COMMUNITY CENTER, 101 W. PEARL ST., STAUNTON, ILLINOIS ON WEDNESDAY, JULY 13, 2022
I. CALL TO ORDER:
Mayor Craig Neuhaus called the Staunton City Council Special Meeting to order at 6:45 P.M. on Wednesday, July 13, 2022.
II. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE:
Mayor Pro Craig Neuhaus led the Pledge Allegiance to the Flag.
III. ROLL CALL:
City Clerk Stiegemeier called roll with the following persons:
PRESENT: Aldermen Manning, Dias, Johnson, Machota, Moore, Scanzoni, Mayor Craig Neuhaus and City Clerk Stiegemeier.
ELECTRONIC ATTENDANCE: Alderman Hanks.
NOT ATTENDING: Alderman Plenske.
IV. BUSINESS
Motion by Dias, seconded by Scanzoni to approve hiring Mark Roberts and Cullen McBride as part time Park & Recreation Department employees. At Roll Call Vote – Ayes: Dias, Johnson, Hanks, Machota, Moore, Scanzoni, Manning. Nayes: None. Absent: Plenske. Motion carried.
V. ADJOURNMENT
With no further business to discuss, Councilmember Machota, seconded by Councilmember Johnson made a motion to adjourn at 6:46 P.M. At Roll Call Vote:
Ayes: Johnson, Hanks, Machota, Moore, Scanzoni, Manning, Dias.
Nayes: None.
Absent: Plenske.
Motion carried.
