Received a letter of resignation from Part Time Police Dispatcher Freda Markle.  Her last date of employment with the City will be November 30, 2025.

 

Received a letter from the Staunton Volunteer Fire Department, thanking the City for the generous support of their 84th Annual Homecoming Celebration.  A copy of the letter is attached to the agenda packet.

Civic Improvement Fund--$250,000.00 plus $4,344.13 interest

Infrastructure Fund--$350,000.00 plus $6,081.77 interest

Reserve Fund--$200,000.00 plus $3,475.31 interest

Telecommunications Fund--$100,000.00 plus $1,737.65 interest

Water Fund--$100,000.00 plus $1,737.65 interest

The Clerk’s Office will be closed on Monday, September 1st for the Labor Day Holiday.  All public works employees will be off that day as well, except for one water treatment plant employee.
