MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE STAUNTON CITY COUNCIL, HELD IN THE RALPH & JOSEPHINE OLTMANN COMMUNITY CENTER, 101 W. PEARL ST., STAUNTON, ILLINOIS ON THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 16, 2021
I. CALL TO ORDER:
Mayor Craig Neuhaus called the Staunton City Council Special Meeting to order at 6:00 P.M. on Thursday, September 16, 2021.
II. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE:
Mayor Craig Neuhaus led the Pledge Allegiance to the Flag.
III. ROLL CALL:
City Clerk Stiegemeier called roll with the following persons
PRESENT: Councilmembers David Manning, Rick Johnson, Chad Plenske, Jeff Scanzoni, Mayor Craig Neuhaus, City Clerk Dennis Stiegemeier and Public Works Director Mike Kuethe.
ELECTRONIC ATTENDANCE: Aldermen Ryan Machota and John Moore.
NOT ATTENDING: Alderman Randy Hanks.
IV. BUSINESS
Motion by Manning, seconded by Scanzoni to approve Resolution #2021-36 Authorizing The Purchase Of 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD Work Truck. At Roll Call Vote – Ayes: Johnson, Machota, Plenske, Moore, Scanzoni, Manning. Nayes: None. Absent: Hanks. Motion carried.
V. ADJOURNMENT
With no further business to discuss, Councilmember Manning, seconded by Councilmember Scanzoni made a motion to adjourn at 6:02 P.M. At Roll Call Vote: Ayes: Machota, Plenske, Moore, Scanzoni, Manning, Johnson. Nayes: None. Absent: Hanks. Motion carried.
